United States Center for Coaching Excellence Renews Accreditation for Play Like a Champion
The United States Center for Coaching Excellence (USCCE) announces that two programs within the Play Like A Champion Educational Series have been re-accredited under the USCCE’s National Committee for Accreditation of Coaching Education (NCACE). Play Like a Champion maintains itself as one of only 3 domain specific accredited programs in the United States.
Through the accreditation process, the National Committee for Accreditation of Coaching Excellence (NCACE) ensures that Play Like a Champion Sport as Ministry Program and the Play Like A Champion Today High School Program adheres to the characteristics of excellence as prescribed by SHAPE America’s National Standards for Sport Coaches. These standards represent the body of knowledge associated with what coaches should know and do. The Sport as Ministry Program was recognized for meeting the standards affiliated with philosophy and ethics as well as growth and development. The Play Like a Champion Today High School Program was recognized for meeting the standards affiliated with philosophy and ethics. The USCCE applauds Play Like a Champion for ensuring their coaches achieve competence in these areas through quality coach education programming.
