Play Like A Champion Today™ Mission Statement

We as a program for teaching, outreach, and research at the University of Notre Dame, develop the whole person through sports within a moral community by producing and delivering character-oriented, research-based, educational programs for coaches, parents, athletes, and administrators. 

Core Objectives: 

Develop the whole person through sports by

• Fostering growth in athletes physically, mentally, socially, morally, and spiritually.
• Fostering growth in coaches, parents, and administrators physically, intellectually, socially, morally, and spiritually.

Elevating the culture of sports by

• Reasserting the values of play for all sport participants. 
• Building a coalition of concerned youth sport administrators, coaches, and parents.
• Developing athlete's character through our GROW approach. 
• Partnering with schools, leagues, and sports organizations to cultivate a holistic sport climate.
